McCarthy Family . Autumnal Family Session . NOVEMBER 2023 .

This lovely family welcomed a new addition and were looking for some updated family photographs. It was fantastic to get out for a walk with the autumnal leaves making a perfect backdrop. I was delighted to capture portrait styled photographs as well as some natural ones of them all just enjoying being silly together! My family sessions always have this balance of organised portraits and much more informal, natural shots so that you get a lovely mix in your gallery!

why I love what i do

Since I welcoming my son into the world back in December '17 I have come to appreciate how time just seems to disappear around children and how fast little ones can change! I also found out how difficult it was to get a fully family photograph & how rare it was to have both me & my husband in them! Photographing natural connections between families is so important because these photographs will be capturing a moment in time that can be looked back on and treasured forever ... with you all included!
