R&C . Micro Wedding . West End . October 2020 .
Ruth & Craig had an incredible wedding in October 2020 surrounded by 15 of their closest family & friends. They held their nerve the whole year and decided they were going to go ahead with their wedding no matter what restrictions they would need to work with. Initially they intended to have their reception at the Three Sister’s bake in Killearn but changed to the much smaller venue – The Bothy in the west end of Glasgow which gave us a great opportunity for photographs down Ruthven Lane. It was the weekend the pubs and restaurants were shut again completely so they had the place to themselves and a very quiet west end! Their day was elegant and exceptionally beautiful with their ceremony taking place in Killearn Kirk. Autumn is my absolute favourite time to photograph a wedding and we weren’t disappointed with the golden leaves on all the trees! I was delighted that their dog Bailey managed to make an appearance after their ceremony wearing a bow-tie too! We got to go outside after their meal, to the deserted lane and have a wee slow dance and I think the photographs we captured are really magical way of having a first dance.
