Jonny & Michael

J&M . Micro Wedding . Loch Awe . September 2020 .

Jonathan & Michael had an incredible wedding on the banks of Loch Awe at the beginning of September 2020. It was the first ‘micro wedding’ I photographed due to the Covid-19 restrictions and I loved every second of their day. I was blown away by how emotional, intimate and utterly joyous it was! Their ceremony took place opposite the monumental ruin of Kilchurn Castle surrounded by 18 of their closest family members. There were happy tears and a lot of laughter as the humanist read aloud the stories of how they first met and how they got engaged. It was wonderful to then walk along the banks of the loch, capturing those newlywed moments with such a beautiful backdrop! Afterwards, they then went back to a local hotel, Ben Cruachan for a wonderful reception meal and even more laughter at some hilarious speeches. Here is a small snapshot of how their beautiful Loch Awe micro wedding went …

hello there!

I'm Suzanne Lister and I am the 'Lister' in

Kal-lister-scope. It's a play on Kaleidoscope which means 'Observation of beautiful forms'. And who & what are these beautiful forms, you ask? Well that's you guys! - your venue, your families bursting with pride, your carefully considered wedding details, your sneaky loved up glances to each other, your shapes on the dance floor and your best friends beaming from ear to ear!

My approach is to capture all those wonderful natural moments that happen and to document your beautiful day as it unfolds ... whilst quietly steering you in the right direction to get those epic shots as well as the all important family photographs!

THE EXPERIENCE.

Booking your wedding photography is a huge investment and it can be stressful not knowing what is involved. Find out more about what it would be like to have me as your wedding photographer.
